General Aviation

You’re reading this page, so you already know General Aviation is a critical part of a country’s infrastructure. One of the keys to general aviation is, of course, the aircraft. Many companies offer kits so that individuals can build their own aircraft, and other companies offer support by building the avionics panels, making the upholstery, painting the aircraft, and even helping the builder build the aircraft itself.

Sutubra helps these companies support their customers as they expand their business.

We build the custom software that lets you run your business when there is just too much to remember, now and especially as your business grows. Unlike “off the shelf” software, our systems are developed and customized specifically for you and the way you do business. We work with you to design, develop, and implement the systems for you and your team. You won’t get stuck with software you can’t use. Simply put, we’re not done until you are up and running, scalable, and able to sleep soundly at night!

Have you ever said to yourself, “there’s just too much I need to remember?” We work with companies that have anywhere from 5-50 people and need to run the business with something more than spreadsheets, pieces of paper, and memory. In other words, we help businesses grow beyond what any one person can keep in their head into a business that is no longer “key person dependent.”

Custom Systems We’ve Built

Automatically generate a detailed quote of over 70 avionics items in a panel based on different types of aircraft, different levels of panel (VFR, Basic IFR, Advanced IFR), and any extra options. The quotes include price and the ability to choose what is printed on the quote and what isn’t, while keeping track of cost to calculate margins.

Avionics Panel Builder

Automatically generate a task list for production based on status changes of an order, type of aircraft, and extra options, then present those tasks in a Kanban chart showing the different work centers and all of the tasks in those work centers.

Avionics Panel Builder, Build Assist Center

Track missing parts from the time a customer reports them missing to the time they are shipped to the customer, including all of the internal steps needed to make that happen. Also records the tracking numbers and creates a “one click” ability to see the tracking information from FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS, etc.

Kit Manufacturer, Build Assist Center

Create and use templates for quotes, tasks, kits, inventory, and everything else that gets repeated for multiple customers. Allow for customization, so that different options result in different quotes, tasks, etc.

Avionics Panel Builder, Build Assist Center

Track which kits, engines, props, etc., have been shipped to which customers so that Service Bulletins can be sent promptly, even as kits and aircraft change hands.

Kit Manufacturer

Generate postage labels to ship missing parts directly from the system while also marking the parts as “shipped,” storing the tracking number, and sending an e-mail to the customer and/or build center with the shipping information.

Kit Manufacturer

Automatically generate packing lists, including serial numbers, back ordered parts with expected ship dates, and previously shipped parts on the order.

Avionics Panel Builder

Keep track of time spent on aircraft, on the individual kits, and/or the individual steps to build the kits and aircraft. Time tracking is simplified for the builders (both employees and customers!) by allowing them to scan a QR code with their phone to clock in and clock out.

Customer portals – allow customers to see information about their own kits, any missing parts, status of their builds at build centers, and the time they’ve spent on their own build.

Kit Manufacturer, Build Assist Center

Track inventory, so if a customer is missing a skin, rib, bracket, or anything else, a replacement can be located quickly and shipped to the customer without needing to make a new part.

Kit Manufacturer

Track progress payments so that there is an easy view of which customers have paid for which components, and which customers need to pay before product is shipped.

Reporting – any information that is captured can be reported, both on demand and e-mailed as needed. This can include the number of new customers or leads, average time to complete a task, timecards left open at the end of the day, missing part details based on customer or part number, and a list of other reports limited only by your imagination!

Every Client!

Let’s build something together.
